About

I’m a civil/geotechnical engineer, currently pursuing a research assistantship and my PhD program at the University of Manitoba, Canada.

My current field of research is climate action and resiliency of infrastructure in Northern Canada, and I’m working on side projects such as Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical (THM) simulation of geothermal systems.

I have have a Master’s in geotechnical engineering and three years of work experience as a geotechnical designer in Iran, involved in the design and remediation planning of several projects, includnig roads, dams, and irrigation channels.

During my spare time, I enjoy programming, amateur astronomy, photography, rock/blues guitar, or swimming.
